CAPTAIN MO
Ernest, or Captain Mo as he is more commonly known, is a South Florida native. His family moved to Fort Lauderdale after his father was hired to become the first general surgeon at what is now Broward Health Medical Center. Their home on the Fort Lauderdale New River would spark Mo’s interest in boats as a child and lead to his first job as a mate on the still famous “Jungle Queen.” After a successful real estate career, he decided to obtain his captains license in 1993 and purchased a Taiwanese motor yacht live aboard that he shared with his only son, Miles.
